The CKT1180-10 is a benchtop (portable) system capable of testing up to 3,500 VDC and 2,500 VAC RMS. This system is available with up to 500 test points, in increments of 50 test points.

The CKT1180-10's focus is to test assemblies that normally work at elevated voltages and must exhibit extremely high reliability. An example is the testing of cables and harness assemblies used in rolling stock, e.g., trains, subway cars, street cars, etc.

Packaging of the CKT1180-10 is an integrated unit comprised of the control electronics, the stimulus generators and measurement instrumentation, and the switching matrix. The output interface is the CKT MAC interface system, modified to be compatible with the high test voltages produced by the CKT1180-10.

To ensure maximum operator safety the CKT1180-10 can be controlled from a remote location using Ethernet wireless connectivity. The remote location can be up to 300 ft. (100 meters) away from the test system (and the test article).

In addition to English, the operator interface is available in German, French, Italian, Spanish and Chinese.
